Some Life Changing Suggestions

We all know by now that we are living in a fast-paced and complex world. Technology has reached a height that man could never imagine. When we get a breathing period we feel so good but realize it will not last. We continue looking for ways to manage getting through the complexities of life. Perhaps you have found a solution, but again maybe not. Not to be discouraging, but our world is spinning out of control. God knew this would happen and that is why in His Word, He has warnings and solutions.

While celebrating Memorial Day where men and women have fought and even given their lives for our freedom, let us not forget how blessed we are to have freedom. In spite of nations hostility toward one another, communities divided, issues of education, families divided and unrest everywhere, one man can make a difference. Yes, one man, Jesus Christ, made a difference in our world. Mother Teressa made a difference in our world, Billy Graham made a difference in our world, Martin Luther made a difference in our world and YOU can make a difference in our world

1.  DO NO HARM.  "By doing no harm, by avoiding evil of every kind, especially that which is most generally practiced."   "IF, HOWEVER, YOU BITE AND DEVOUR ONE ANOTHER, TAKE CARE THAT YOU ARE NOT CONSUMED BY ONE ANOTHER."
To do no harm means that I will be on guard so that all my actions and even my silence will not add injury to any part of God's creation.

2.  DO GOOD. "By doing good: by being kind and doing good in every possible sort and, as far as possible to all..." "GOD ANOINTED JESUS OF NAZARETH WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WITH POWER; HOW HE WENT ABOUT DOING GOOD..." Acts 10:38  "WHOEVER DOES GOOD IS FROM GOD." 3 John 1:1b
Doing good, like doing no harm, is a proactive way of living.

3.  STAYING IN LOVE WITH GOD.  "By studying His Word and being Obedient to it."  "SEEK THE LORD AND HIS STRENGTH, SEEK HIS PRESENCE CONTINUALLY." Psalm 105:4
Living in the presence of and in harmony with the living God who is made known in Jesus Christ and  companions us in the Holy Spirit is to live life from the inside out. It is to find our moral direction, our wisdom, our courage, our strength to live faithfully from the One who authroed us, called us, sustains us and sens us into the world as witnesses who daily practice the way of living with Jesus.
