ARE YOU LIVING IN PLAN A OR IN PLAN B

 With a broken wing
She still sings.
She keeps an eye on the sky

 A few years back my grand daughter and I were walking in the mall talking about some of the issues we were both facing in life. As we strolled into a store the song “Broken Wing” was playing. We didn’t pay much attention to the song until we heard: “…and with a broken wing…” We both stopped and looked at each other and said: “wow, we CAN make it with a broken wing”.

Today as I was walking outside, I thought about this song again and more thoughts came to me that I will share. Life is not meant to be perfect.  We all have struggles, losses, illnesses, pain, and more. BUT GOD…who created us planned it this way and gave us a plan to overcome these times. The Word is full of suggestions for us to put into practice.  Many think that Plan A never came to fruition in their lives, when all the time they were still living in Plan A in misery. Why not try to:

Change your way of thinking.(think on things that are true, positive, etc.)

Change your outlook.( all things work for good…)

Change your actions.(lean not to your own understanding…)

Change your circle of friends.(do not neglect gathering with God’s people)

Change your source of comfort.(rod & staff comfort me)

Change your lifestyle.(search my heart oh God)

Change your position in battle (the battle is the Lord’s)

We slip into Plan B when we refuse to accept the challenges in Plan A. How many take things into their own hands the “world’s way” and miss out on miracle after miracle? Some of my most trying times in life were the greatest lessons and best outcomes. As you proceed in Plan A: embrace God, His Word, His Plan and TRUST Him with His PLAN.  There is no perfection on this earth or it would be HEAVEN. God’s plan is to PREPARE us for HEAVEN. YOU CAN FLY WITH A BROKEN WING!
