My good friend Jeanne shared this version of Psalm 23. I love it!

PSALM 23 (Japanese version)

The Lord is my pace-setter:
I shall not rush,
He makes me stop and rest for quiet intervals
He provides me with images of stillness
Which restores my serenity

He leads me in the way of efficiency
through calmness of mind
and His guidance is peace.
Even though I have a great many things
to accomplish each day,
I will not fret.

For His presence is here,
His timelessness
His all-Importance
Will keep me in balance.

He prepares refreshment and renewal
In midst of activity
By anointing my mind
With the oils of tranquility.

My cup of joyous energy overflows!
Surely harmony and effectiveness
Shall be the fruit of my hours
For I shall walk in the pace of my Lord
And dwell in his house forever.

HE PLACED ME HERE AND NOW
EE – NOV. 09

I CORINTHIANS 6:19b “..YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE.”

Why is it in trying circumstances we ask ourselves this question: “Of what use am I to anyone?” I’ve asked myself this question when:

1. Life becomes too challenging to enjoy.
2. When I do not seem to be productive, and don’t see results.
3. When things don’t go as I had planned.
4. When I have no control.

Let’s take a look at these questions to see what stands out –I, ME, MINE –OOPS!

I love the old saying: “Bloom Where You are Planted!” Hard to do? NO DOUBT! Possible? ABSOLUTELY! Corrie ten Boon is such an example along with Mother Teressa, Hulda Buntane and my friend Bettie. Bettie had a stroke 12 years ago that left her left side paralyzed. In spite of her handicap, Bettie went on with her life with joy in serving the Lord whenever she could.

Three months ago, Bettie fell and broke a large bone in her paralyzed leg. The surgeon operated and was hoping for a mend. After 3 months they have told Bettie the mending is not taking place. Until the bone is mended she cannot begin therapy. When Bettie called to give me this report she was not at all discouraged. She said: “There is still HOPE; God is in control of my life!” BETTIE REFUSES TO GIVE UP HER BLOOM!

Oswald Chambers has said: “GOD BRINGS US INTO CIRCUMSTANCES IN ORDER TO EDUCATE OUR FAITH, BECAUSE THE NATURE OF FAITH IS TO MAKE ITS OBJECT REAL. FAITH IS THE WHOLE MAN RIGHTLY RELATED TO GOD BY THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST”.

Are you discouraged? Are you ready to give up? Do you feel your life is of no use?
Realize that you are at a place where God can become in charge of your life in spite of your circumstances. One touch from the Master’s Hand can put the broken back together, heal the sick, wounded and hurting. In the meantime, don’t give up, get back on track and watch God move in your life.

My Father in Heaven: Praise your Holy Name. Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to You. May my blinded eyes see clearly- You, Your Plan, and Your Ways. Forgive me for failing to recognize that You are here! Amen.

Thanks for the EE Auntie. I am so blessed to receive it. There is so many times where it is easy to become discouraged , but the reality is that being discouraged gets us no where. There is always hope when we know the father and realize what the plan of our lives is, to glorify God. Thankyou for reminding us all of this. Keep the good stuff coming girl! Love ya
